IMPORTANT OFFICIALS INFORMATION Would you like the opportunity to be a USATF Texas Southern Association Official? Dear Officials, Coaches, and Members (Active and Inactive): It has been a pleasure working with all of you. I would first like to say thank you for all your hard work and support to USA Track and Field.
The new Olympiad is fast approaching, therefore need to be ready to officiate this coming year and be prepared to take advantage of the opportunities available for the next Olympiad. ALL officials MUST be three step compliant in order to be a USATF certified official.
Here are some helpful tips to assist you in making this process easier:
These are the fundamental steps needed in becoming or maintaining a USATF Official Certification. Other requirements are: A basic 50 question review, (this is not a test) for ALL certified officials. National and Masters certification levels require an additional test/review. You can find all test/reviews at the following link, https://noc.mach2k.net. Be advised that you have the capability to complete these test/reviews online, and the results will be sent directly to me upon completion. I will notify you of the results. You can also print out the information and take test/review and send to me personally.
The process outlined here is the same for officials seeking an upgrade. Reminder you MUST also participate in an Association Championship event in to be considered. Be on the look out for the next certification clinics dates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions at officials@texassouthern.usatf.org or Trackphd@gmail.com Sincerely, Preston Johnson Officials/Certification Chairmen USATF, Texas Southern Association
