We are pleased to announce our upcoming Annual and Elections meeting for the Texas Southern Association. Due to the vast area of our Association geographical footprint, we will be conducting this meeting via Zoom virtual platform; therefore, please refer to the specific information and instructions below.

All personnel are requested to adhere to the guidelines of this message, as we will be strictly adhering to this format to ensure this meeting operates as smoothly and enjoyable as possible for all of you. We would like to cordially invite and welcome you to this meeting.

What: Annual Meeting/Elections
When: Sunday, 29 September 2024, 3:00 p.m.
Where: Virtual Association Zoom Platform

Meeting Instructions:

1. Be a current member of USATF, Texas Southern Association.
2. Respond to this invite by emailing the Secretary Ms. Joy Taylor: Secretary@texassouthern.usatf.org and cc the Vice President Vicepresident@texassouthern.usatf.org by 22 September 2024.
3. Membership attendees will be verified via USATF connect, then verified members will be sent an access link to zoom prior to the meeting; all members not current will be denied access to this meeting.
4. Adherence to the posted Agenda will be unabated.

Nomination Instructions:

1. Nominations for interested office need to be received by 22 September 2024.
2. Nominations should be sent directly to the Committee Chair Ms. Joy Taylor and cc the Vice President.
3. Nominations will be verified for eligibility and approved by the Nomination Committee, approved nominations will be distributed via email to all verified members that will be in attendance.
4. No nominations will be allowed from the floor during this Virtual meeting.
5. Reminder for all interested nominees for the positions of President and Vice President, please refer to the Texas Southern Association Bylaws Article 9(f), Succession of Office for additional eligibility information required for those positions.
6. Nominees will be allowed 2 minutes to speak. (not required)

Zoom Voting Instructions:

1. Will be provided by the Secretary.
Caveat- Meeting/Elections will be strictly monitored using Robert’s Rule of order. Please be courteous, professional and respectful to all during this meeting or you will be excused after one warning from the session
