AGE DIVISIONS; ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
8 & under born 2015+*
9 - 10 born 2013- 2014
11 – 12 born 2011-2012
13 - 14 born 2009-2010
15 - 16 born 2007-2008
17 - 18 **born 2005-2006
* Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) “Athletes must be at least seven (7)
years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the
Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championships.”
** Athletes who are still 18 through the final day of the USATF
National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships are eligible
to compete in the 17-18 age division through that meet. This
extended eligibility does not apply to cross country events.
Individual Athletes:
Only U.S. citizens, aliens living in the United States and foreign exchange students are eligible to compete in these Championships. See the USATF Rules for more information and exceptions. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up"; in any events,
including relays.
Competitors in the 8 under, 9 - 10 and 11 - 12 age divisions may compete in a maximum of three (3) events, including relays. Competitors in the 13 - 14, 15 - 16 and 17 - 18 age divisions may compete in a maximum of four (4) events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count. All athletes must be 2022 members of USATF in good standing.
Entry Process:
Individual Entries: $10.00 per athlete
Athletes MUST enter the Association Championship to be advanced to the National meet. There will be
NO regional XC meet
. Late entries will not be allowed.
A Valid 2023 USATF Membership and Proof of Birth is required for participation. Before registering your athletes, please ensure that the Athlete’s membership has been verified in the USATF Connect system.

BEFORE
an entry will be accepted by Athletic.net
Online registration opens September 24,2023. Fees must be paid online by the close of registration.
Accuracy of data entered is the responsibility of each club and/or athlete. Please validate data within Athletic.net for accuracy prior to submitting entry.

WAIVERS
:
All athletes who participate in the USATF Junior Olympic Program must complete the Junior Olympic Participant Waiver and Release form. This form is already integrated in the online entry system and can be completed electronically; it can also be obtained via your association. All forms must be submitted at the first round of the Junior Olympic series.
AWARDS
:
USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top three (3) individuals in each event of each age division.
ADVANCEMENTS
:
The top 15 individuals in each event of each age division will advance to the USATF National Championships to be held December 9, 2023 at “Tom” Sayer Park in Louisville, KY 40241
EVENT CHECK-IN:
Athletes must check in for their event at the designated area 30 minutes prior to the events scheduled starting time. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warm-up areas after checking in.
COMPETITION WRISTBANDS:
All competitors must wear their wristbands throughout the meet. Wristbands will be a part of the check-in procedure and NO athlete will be allowed to participate without one. Lost wristbands will cost $10.
EVENT RESULTS:
During competition, event results will be posted in the vicinity of the main pavilion.
PROTESTS
:
There will be a $50.00 CASH ONLY fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the ticket booth no later than 30 minutes after result has been announced. The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
RULES – CONDUCT & FACILITY:
The Seguin City Park and USATF General Rules of Conduct is applicable to all Athletes, Coaches and Spectators during this event.
GATE ADMISSION FEES:
There will be no gate fee admission for spectators and coaches to attend this event.
