1.What is your club’s official name?
Alpha Track Club
2. Where is your club based (where do you practice)?
San Antonio / Clark HS / Eisenhower Middle School
3. When was your club established?
2021
4. What is your coaching background?
Level 1 Certified Coach – USATF with 7 years in the sport. Also Coach Youth Football and Basketball
5. What is your athletic background?
HS Track and Field, HS Swimmer (butterfly and freestyle), HS Football
6. How many coaches do you have on your staff?
Head Coach John Ware, Assistant Coach Bryan Autry
7. What is your coaching philosophy?
I can give you the tools but I cannot give you the effort!

9. What is the age range of the athletes you coach?
4 – 18yo
10. How many athletes are part of your program?
20
11. Who has been the most successful athlete from your program?
I have 6 that have reached the same level of success in my program: Payton Ware, Chanel Trapp, Julian Ware, Bryson Autry, Mayson Autry, and Christian Ford all made it to the 2023 Junior Olympics in Oregon. No wins past Regionals
12. What is your proudest coaching moment in your career?
Seeing an athlete finally understand that all the hard work must happen in practice to excel on meet day.
13. Do you coach all track and field or long distance running events? If not, which ones do you not coach?
Yes all of the running events (except hurdles), shot put, and long jump
14. Why did you become a coach?
I became a coach because I love kids, love to teach, and understand the importance of passing on knowledge to our youth. It’s our responsibility to guide our future leaders to a better life.
